Don’t Tell Social Services…

…but yesterday when Boy #3 was home with Husband and Boy #1, who was sick, this is what he told Husband:
“All I want for Christmas is for Mommy to put clothes on me.”
Seriously?! Is it MY fault he was still in his underwear at 6:00 p.m. when I got home?
Apparently…
So I grabbed some clothes for him, gave him a hug, and said, “I’m sorry! Were you cold all day?”
And teary-eyed, he replied, “Yeah. I wanted clothes but you weren’t here.”
So when I asked Husband in my accustatory loving tone why HE hadn’t put clothes on our son, he informed me that he tried and was told, “No, only Mommy can do it!”
Well, at least Boy #3’s already gotten his Christmas wish.
My Christmas wish?
That the state doesn’t take my children away!

OMGosh! Sorry to say but this was HILARIOUS. The poor lil thing and yet he wouldn’t give in and just let daddy do it huh? Well, he couldn’t have been THAT cold. 😉
Poor little guy… Daddy’s just don’t do things the way Mommy does them!
LOL!! Poor boy! But he knows, mommy does it best! 😉
I found you through gina. Yes, I agree with her. Super HILARIOUS!!

Too funny. . . and I thought they grew out of being so particular about which parent does what!! (sigh)
ok, I came from old school. You don’t give them a choice, you dress them anyway!!!!! husband’s mother who is disappointed that he didn’t just dress him. Sorry!
Hey, I figured they just took after their mother and like to walk around the house in their underwear.
I think this would happen a lot more to our girls if dad didn’t have so much experience with HOG TYING! It’s very similar!
This is a story to tell his prom date one day!
Well, I have come to the realization that living with a two-year-old is a lot like living with a drunk streaker.
It doesn’t sound like it gets much better.
