Kitchen-Aid Wants to Rescue Your Appliances
Growing up, we had orange kitchen appliances. I believe “poppy” was the correct term for it, although it was more of a burnt orange than a bright. They went with our orange kitchen curtains. And kind of went with our white and yellow Formica table and chairs. Looking back, I’m impressed that my mom had enough spunk to put her own unique taste (Did I mention that her wedding colors were also orange and yellow?) before tradition, especially considering we lived in a farmhouse.
What do you see when you look in your kitchen? Do you love your kitchen appliances? Or are you stuck with someone else’s poppy-orange refrigerator and stove from the ’70s? If so, Kitchen-Aid® wants to help with their Rescue My Appliances Sweepstakes.
Simply submit a photo of your old kitchen appliances and you could win:
- a new suite of appliances from KitchenAid® (worth $7,000),
- Service Live Credits toward remodeling (worth $1,000), and
- a phone consultation with Kitchen-Aid kitchen design expert Susan Serra (worth $200)!
Submit your photo to Kitchen-Aid here. Hurry, though; entries must be submitted by November 2, 2010. Good luck!
