My kids would love the recycled dump truck.

In case you couldn’t make it to our National Mom’s Nite Out either because you a) had prior commitments; b) couldn’t find a place to park in downtown Des Moines because of a CERTAIN country star; or c) you live in someplace like Rhode Island or Luxembourg and didn’t feel like flying in to Des Moines for a three-hour event—you’re in luck! Jody and I have one more Swag Bag to give away!

And speaking of the bag, we want to make sure you check out KangarooBoo, who kindly donated the awesome canvas bags! KangarooBoo is a store that specializes in unique wooden and handmade baby toys and smart children’s products. I had the pleasure of meeting Jennic, the owner, at Mom’s Nite Out, and she is so sweet. And I am so impressed after browsing around her store. Three reasons to shop KangarooBoo: 1) Free shipping on all orders over $75, all the time. 2) All orders ship in ONE DAY. And the COOLEST reason? 3) Jennic and her husband donate money to charity on every order. AND, they let YOU decide, as the customer, which charity you’d like them to give to! How awesome is that? I’m so glad I met Jennic and found out about KangarooBoo, and I’m super pumped to hear that they’re opening a brick-and-mortar store in the historic Valley Junction in West Des Moines. Whoo-hoo!

Other contributors to our Swag Bags that we want to mention are Little Debbie, WalMart, The National Pork Board, and Dropps. Thank you so much for supporting our Mom’s Nite Out event!

We also want to give a HYUUUUGE thank you to Bryan at Godiva for bringing his chocolate-melter-thingy (Yes, that’s the technical term) and pampering us with chocolate covered strawberries AND banana-strawberry chocolate shishkabobs. DELISH! And he and his fiancee were such great sports! We so enjoyed hanging out with them all evening. (And no, not just because they were giving out free chocolate!) If you’re in the DSM area, stop by the Godiva store at Jordan Creek and tell Bryan hi! (And tell his boss that he deserves a raise, while you’re at it!)

So here’s the skinny on getting this bag o’ fun:

  • Visit KangarooBoo. Then leave a comment here telling me about a product you think is cool.
  • Get 1 extra entry for each of the following. (Leave me a separate comment for each so I know you did them. Please include URL if relevant.)

  1. We actually have the recycled Tool Box, Boo got it for Christmas one year. I LOVE IT, nothing she does will break it and she is rough on it.

    Thanks!

  2. I’m disappointed that I couldn’t make it to DM for Mom’s Nite. Glad you all had a good time though!

  3. The Dino Explorer toy on KangarooBoo is super cute. My son loves dinosaurs so this is right up his alley!

  4. I think the all natural teethers made from Maple are really cool. I’d be interested to see how they hold up. I’d never heard of kangarooBoo until I read your post. I’ll definitely be scoping the site more for baby toys.

  5. I’m very interested in most of the toys, actually!! Especially the Fun Abacus by Plan Toys! –Michelle, blogattoday (!at] gmaildotcom
